Aurora Profiles are a Leeds based plate processing business with extensive industry experience, these guys really know what they are doing. My connection with the business goes back to my steel industry days having worked with the Managing Director and commercial manager.
Developing the website content for Aurora was much easier than many websites we are involved in due to my connection to steel, it was a real pleasure to create something smart for my former colleagues.
The existing Aurora website was long out of date and not actually live, Aurora have a good client base so they did not notice any impact on business but acknowledged that a professional website is a basic requirement these days.
The website for Aurora whilst sharing useful information about the services offered also includes a documentation download section to make it easier for customers to obtain certification and other useful documents directly. All our websites are designed to create a clear message for the customer, clear content which is device responsive, with so much web traffic moving to mobile it has become a serious factor in design.
In the design of the website we used a flexible Word Press platform with a revolution slider to highlight the key message of Aurora. A slider can be static or multi slide, it provides a really good way to engage with visitor and includes a call to action providing additional details of the service and the opportunity to make contact via the contact form.
The website design is optimsed for use across different platforms meaning any visitor using a mobile phone or tablet will have an equally good user experience as a desktop browser.
We have opted for clear contact details at the top of the page meaning that any visitor just wanting contact details can find these quickly.
We are not expecting to undertake any additional marketing activities apart from occasional website updates, the fact is that Aurora is already very good at what they does and website does not detract from this.
When Quality and Delivery matter most.
As straplines go its maybe not the punchiest we have been involved in but it is very clear message. Aurora did not want to join a race to be squeezed as a supplier to high volume corporations who do not place much value on the quality of product and loyalty they offer. Aurora have built up an enviable reputation as a supplier to businesses who do not mind to pay a bit more for a high quality product that is delivered on time in full. For this type customer quality and delivery really do matter most.
